An oil based cleansing gel to dissolve makeup and impurities;

How to use?
1) Put it in dry hands and apply on dry face;
2) Massage in circular motion especially on eye areas to dissolve mascara and makeup;
3) Add lukewarm water to emulsify the cleanser and massage again to remove impurities;
4) Rinse off with lukewarm water;
5) For normal to oily and oily skin type, use Shiseido Perfect Whip Cleansing Foam after cleansing gel to remove excess sebum for refreshing touch.

Though Shu Uemura and other Japanese skincare brands introduced oil based cleansers several years ago, I was suspicious of using it as I have combination skin and worry about the possibility of the cleanser clogging my pores.

But now, I use this product frequently and I am happy to see the result: it takes me just a few minutes to remove my makeup including waterproof mascara and matt finish foundation. My skin is cleaned, soft and supple. During Winter, I use it in both day and night to retain natural moisture of the skin even though I have combination skin type.

To achieve the best result, remember to dry your hands and face before using it. Massage the cleanser gently and add water to emulsify it. Finally, use lukewarm (not hot!) water to rinse off the product completely and you will see the difference.
