What is "Medicated Sekkisei"?
"Medicated Sekkisei" is approved by Japan Ministry of Health. In Asia, Kose Sekkisei Series has "Medicated" wording on the package. Due to the popularity of Medicated Sekkisei among our customers, we offer mainly Medicated version but you will still find "Non-Medicated" Kose in our store. The "Non-Medicated" version includes Sekkisei Cleansing Powder, Seikisho products and Kose samples which are in original package and available in Asia and North America.

Kose Medicated Sekkisei Emulsion Excellent (140ml):
A creamy lotion like moisturizer which targets dark spots, freckles and damage skin problems caused by sun exposure. Contains several Chinese herbal extracts to brighten and suppress melanin formation. Deeply penetrate into the skin in order to improve skin texture and roughness. With extra hyaluronic acid to smooth, hydrates and to seal in the natural moisture of the skin, skin becomes smooth and transparent.

For normal to dry skin; or

For normal to oily skin but the signs of aging becomes more visible; or

For those who are using Sekkisei Emulsion, may find that the emulsion is too light for the Winter, can use this Emulsion Excellent as substitute.

How to use?
Apply appropriate amount after cleansing and toning. Gently pad the emulsion to the area with most concern in order to boost up the penetration of the product.

Question: Would the kose medicated sekkisei excellent series be suitable for me? or should I buy the sekkisei supreme series. I am 32 yrs old living in europe which the weather is slighlty drier. I also have combination skin and I am concern with early sign of aging/fine lines/large pores. I am considering buying the medicated sekkisei lotion, sekkisei emulsion EXCELLENT & sekkisei day essence.

Answer: I think Medicated Sekkisei Lotion, Emulsion Excellent (for night) and Medicated Sekkisei Day Essence (for day) are good for your skin.

Supreme series is designed for dull and tired look skin which caused by stress and environmental problems. Since you have normal skin and you want to find something with anti-aging benefits so your original choices are good for your skin concern.

At the same time, you may want to try Vitacreme B12. This moisturizer is in lightweight texture so I use it as essence (I have combination skin and the weather in the Southwest of US is pretty dry) to refine my skin texture and improve my large pores problem.
