About Komenuka Bijin

Komenuka Bijin is a popular Japanese skin, body and hair care product based on rice bran. For the past 200 years, Nihonsakari Co., Ltd has been one of Japan’s premier producers of sake, Japanese wine, which is made from the inside of rice and the finest spring water. In 1987, Nihonsakari resurrected the use of Rice Bran for cleansing. Enriching this traditional cleanser with natural products such as Aloe, Seaweed, Coconut Oil, Ginseng and other ingredients.

Nihonsakari then produced Komenuka Bijin - a line of skin and hair cleansers that did more than just clean; they actually helped rejuvenate the skin and hair to create a new and healthy glow.

The name KOMENUKA BIJIN comes from the Japanese words, "rice bran" and "beautiful person" and the products are backed by solid research - the Japan Medical School have discovered that rice bran contains a form of liquefied Oryzanol, a Vitamin B derivative, that can help soften the skin and regenerate new, healthy skin. Rice bran can also help treat skin disorders such as chronic itch, problems caused by allergies, dandruff, and other skin problems.
