Question: Does this product come in sealed packaging? Also, is the expiration date listed on the bottle? Answer: This product is packed in a plastic box and you will see Chinese product description, English ingredient list and expiration date on the package.
This product is made in Japan and manufactured by Sofina. We stock this item from Taiwan which has strict regulation on skin care and makeup products so you will see those information on the packaging.
If the product is from Japan and Hong Kong, you can only see Japanese usage and ingredient list on the packaging. Having said that, the products are fresh (as Sofina is fast moving goods) and the formulations are the same.

Question: I would like to try a product you sell which I have never purchased before. Can you please tell me the ingredients in: Sofina Perfect UV Lucent SPF50 I need to know if this is a physical or chemical sunblock and the percentage of the active ingredients. I am EXTREMELY picky about my sunblocks and have heard very good recommendations about this one. I also need to know the expiration date of this product before I purchase. I do not wish to purchase a sunblock that will expire shortly after purchase. Answer: Thanks for your message. Here is the ingredient list of Sofina Perfect Sunscreen: Active Ingredient: Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate 4%, Zinc Oxide 13.87% Others: Cyclomethicone, Water, Dimethicone, Alcohol, Glycerin, Talc, Polymethylsilsesquioxane, Lauryl Methacrylate/Glycol Dimethacrylate Crosspolymer, Polysilicone-9, Dimethicone/Methicone Copolymer, Titanium Dioxide, PEG-12 Dimethicone, PEG-3 Dimethicone, Aluminum Hydroxide, Methicone, Silica, Hydrated Silica, BHT

Question: Have you ever used this product? If so, what can you tell me about it from your personal experience? I am VERY interested in trying this Sofina one. I am king of sunblocks, always looking for the best one available. I always use very high SPF and try to use physical sunblocks instead of the chemical ones (there is just way too much sun here in Texas). Currently, I use 2 different ones, one which is not available in the U.S., so I have to get it from Asia. Also, since you must try a million products all the time, what are your personal favorite sunblocks and/or recommendations? I would like to get any feedback from you since I am sure you are very knowledgeable about sunblock/cosmetic items, especially those from Asia. thanks for any and all info you can provide. Answer: I haven't tried this product before but I have been using Sofina HADA-KA SPF24/SPF50 and Sofina Beaute SPF24/SPF50 (Fresh) for few weeks. They are in very light texture and my skin is well hydrated after using them. I don't need to put any moisturizer prior to using those sunscreen as the products provide just a right amount of hydration so I use it after toners, such as Sofina Beaute Lotion (II) or Shiseido The Skincare Hydrating Softener, to keep my skin in healthy condition. Talking about Sofina Perfect UV, this product is waterproof and in SPF50 so you can use it for outdoor activities for a complete protection. At the same time, you need a special cleaner, such as Beaute Makeup Remover to remove the sunscreen in order to prevent clog pores. Having said that, I will still suggest Sofina Perfect UV as this product provides long hour and waterproof sun protection. If you want to have daily protection and stay indoor during daytime, you can try Sofina Beaute SPF24/SPF50 as they are in lightweight texture and can be used under makeup.
